I helped out a friend by helping her get her ballot. It was also an opportunity to disciple to her. We talked about her family dynamics and ways to improve their relationship.

  • Like the bridge is inside an orange outline of the United States.

  • What about the same logo of the orange bridge but inside an outlined shape of the US map?

I have had more of a habit in the past few years of thanking God. “Thank you God for my kids”, “Thank you God for this moment”, etc.

I also talk to God on a much more personal level when I am feeling anxious or scared. “God, please help me with the future. I know it is in your hands, so I must give the future to you. Help me with the discomfort I feel in this moment. God, remove my doubt.”

Thank you for your comment Betsy! Communication with God is everything!! I always tell the youth that I minister to at my church- keep the dialogue with God active. 🙏

Does Discipleship also include creating other spiritual leaders?

  • I think these questions are great. I would also add “What are my friend’s religious views?” If I know them outside of church, I think it’s important to know who their god is. Is it substances, relationships, lifestyle, education, success? Everyone has a god, so it’s important to note who their god is before introducing God to their life.

For example, if someone’s god is relationships/ falling in love, I would approach it by validating that they are worthy of love. Then I would point them to the everlasting Father, who loves us unconditionally.

I found Tim Glover’s Podcast very helpful! He is a Bridge Leader, one of the things they are working on is to create community for Christian Filmmakers in Los Angeles.

It was filled with information about the impact of Bridges. I really recommend it!

Thank you for explaining, Julie! I would be interested to hear more about why China is in the condition that it is in.

I had a friend from high school who was an exchange student from Thailand. Her name was Naphawarian but we all called her Nine, I guess everyone there goes by nicknames. You are very brave to go out and spread the gospel to those in need for it!

My ministry is a podcast where discipleship happens with guests and to our viewers. I feel called to share my testimony with others as well as listen to theirs. I also have long term goals of narrative media and storytelling of people’s testimonies. I am very focused locally and hope to improve our culture for Gen Z and the younger generations to come.
