Let’s welcome Melanie Powell to the BridgesUS Community of Leaders.
Melanie just launched a new micro-nonprofit to help pregnant women. “Under His Wings Collective” functions alongside and in partnership with her business, which provides doula services to pregnant women and their families.
Here is how Melanie describes her new nonprofit ministry:
“Under His Wings Collective exists to shatter financial and systemic barriers to premium maternal care. We deliver elite, evidence-based childbirth education and trauma-informed virtual doula support to medicaid-eligible and high-anxiety mothers at zero or lower cost to the family, transforming maternal fear into clinical autonomy and restoring dignity to the birth room.”
Melanie lives and serves in Texas. Flowing out of her Christian faith journey, Melanie approaches all of her work and life as ministry, seeking to help each mother and their family members not only with giving birth to new life but also with their relationship with God and with each other.
