Scripture assures us that our prayers make a difference:
This prayer made in faith will heal the sick; the Lord will restore them to health, and the sins they have committed will be forgiven. 16 So then, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you will be healed. The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect.
PLEASE SHARE YOUR PRAYER REQUESTS AND PRAY FOR OTHERS
1. Pray for financial giving for all our Bridge Leader Projects. Last year 33% of all giving happened in December.
We have finally passed through election day. The past 6 weeks have been difficult weeks for BridgesUS as nonprofit giving across the USA was impacted by two hurricanes, two political campaigns, and one election.
Our goal for total giving before December 31 is $300,000.
Please join together in praying earnestly for the next 8 weeks for generous hearts and God’s provision.
O GOD, PLEASE NUDGE HEARTS AND MINDS OF PEOPLE TO GIVE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR MISSION, AND SPECIFICALLY THROUGH BRIDGESUS.
2. I am heading to Virginia to be with Bridge Leader Rachel Weller. Her husband Michael died from a brain tumor. Michael was 64
O GOD, COMFORT BRIDGE LEADER RACHEL AS SHE MOURNS THE LOSE OF HER HUSBAND MICHAEL. BE WITH HER CHILDREN AND EVERYONE WHO IS GRIEVING.

My prayers are almost always that we use the power of goodness in each of us, the power we call God, to do what we know from the Bible is God’s good work, to the best of each of our physical and mental abilities.
