    What made you choose Thailand?

Hi Tara! Nice to meet you! I chose Thailand because I felt called to train missionaries in Asia, but where I had lived and studied about for so long (China) has become closed to foreign teachers in their seminaries. So I was praying and discerning with my missions professors on where foreign teachers might still be welcomed and wanted and Southeast Asia came up. We then discerned Thailand because there are so many missionaries there, but still only 1% Christians (so I wondered how evangelism is being done there) and they are very open to missionaries living and working there! I’d love to hear what your ministry is!

Thank you for explaining, Julie! I would be interested to hear more about why China is in the condition that it is in.

I had a friend from high school who was an exchange student from Thailand. Her name was Naphawarian but we all called her Nine, I guess everyone there goes by nicknames. You are very brave to go out and spread the gospel to those in need for it!

My ministry is a podcast where discipleship happens with guests and to our viewers. I feel called to share my testimony with others as well as listen to theirs. I also have long term goals of narrative media and storytelling of people’s testimonies. I am very focused locally and hope to improve our culture for Gen Z and the younger generations to come.
