Who are your partners for facing future challenges?
Bridges Supporter Victoria Patel has introduced me to The Center for Innovation at UC Berkeley. Rev. Dr. Solomon is the leader. Solomon has tried to entice Bridges to join the Center for Innovation because he wants us to share our innovation experience with others. He finds that companies and organizations innovate more when they collaborate with others who are more different, not more the same. So, a IT company that collaborates with other IT companies, tends to innovate less than an IT company that collaborates with a religious nonprofit. The Center for Innovation has a few hundred companies, many from the Fortune 500.
As you collaborate with others in your ministry:
Who might be a good collaborator to help your organization move forward strategically? In what way?
What are the challenges that your ministry will face in the next 12 to 18 months? Who might be a good partner to face those changes?
Nonprofits tend to partner with churches and other nonprofits.
What might a for-profit partner bring to the table that would help your organization move to the next level of mission implementation and vision embodiment?
