PRAYING FOR NEW BRIDGE LEADERS

PRAYING FOR NEW BRIDGE LEADERS
To: All Members of BridgesUS Academy
I have written the below as a prayer. I am hoping that we can all pray this from the heart.
Please pray together with me:
1. O God, thank you for new Leaders asking to sign up for services from BridgesUS. We lift up Sue Brooke, Cherri Petrioli, Anna, and Kim. Help them to clarify their call from you. Help them to clarify whom you are calling them to love and serve. Protect them from evil, discouragement, and distraction and strengthen their inner being.
Encourage and empower Sue and Cherri as they start a new ministry to small business owners called “Business with Purpose Foundation.”
Encourage and empower Anna as she raises funds for African children who need schooling and eventually others in the USA.
Encourage and empower Kim as she prepares to meet with James Milley next week for the first time.
2. Thank you, O God, for Bridge Leader Addison Taylor. Thank you for his ministry helping those who suffer from chronic pain move towards a joyful, full life. Thank you for Addison referring new Bridge Leader Anna and others from his involvement in the group Life Works Transformational Leadership.
3. Thank you, O God, for Bridge Leader Norm Gordon. Thank you for his ministry in Maryland to a group of families who coordinate the community to help children learn to read. Thank you for making Norm’s ministry fruitful in new disciples. Thank you for Norm referring new Bridge Leader Kim.
4. O God, thank you for our Vision event coming November 9th. Please energize and motivate the supporters of BridgesUS and the future supporters of BridgesUS to come out and hear the stories from Bridge Leaders Daniel Petersen and Florence Annang.
Please nudge people to commit to coming, to marking their calendars, and protect them from confusion and distractions that would block them from coming. May your Holy Spirit work in our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls to move us to be more deeply committed to your Mission. (Sunday, Nov 9, 4pm-6pm.)
5. O God, we pray for a turning to you in America. We pray for the 230 million or more people who do not experience regular Christian community to discover the joy and pace and hope that are possible through giving our allegiance and trust to you as the God of all things and our future.
6. O God, we pray for the resources needed to support more of the leaders you are calling to serve those who are the least, lonely, and lost. We pray for funds, volunteers, and new partners in the vision. May all our resources enable more people to experience how you made them for more– for loving service, joyful community, and a future with you.
7. O God, forgive us for not trusting you fully. Forgive us for getting distracted so often. Forgive us for giving our effort, time and money to some things that are not necessary for our joy and your Kingdom. Help us to trust you fully, give joyfully, live with hope, and serve with love.
